Typically in custom work we need to take the time to individualize designs for the client. This takes extra time but allows the home owner to have a one of kind personalized stone carving in their home. We take the time to make sure that all of the stone will fit the future framing of the drywall and or stucco as the case may be. Often, as in the last diagram, we will tell the framer what final dimensions they need to frame to so that the stone will be able to be applied without interference with other surrounding architecture, such as kitchen cabinets in this case.
